Bugatti Residences by Binghatti – Architectural Model Making & 3D Printing
An architectural presentation model and a collection of 3D-printed building miniatures created for Bugatti Residences in Dubai. Project Overview Crystal Corporation produced physical models of Bugatti Residences by Binghatti, a luxury residential development in Business Bay, Dubai. The work covered two types of production. One was a large architectural model featuring the tower, its surroundings and integrated illumination. The other involved smaller replicas of the building, manufactured through 3D printing in several sizes. The collection brought the architectural design to life through a large display model and miniature replicas in a range of sizes. The Main Architectural Scale Model For the larger display, Crystal Corporation built a physical representation of the Bugatti Residences tower with its curved structure and closely spaced horizontal façade elements. The model also included a surrounding miniature cityscape, landscaping and a specially presented base. Lighting within the building emphasized its unusual shape and added depth to the overall display. This architectural model was produced for the development’s launch and sales presentation requirements. Miniature Replicas Made Through 3D Printing A separate part of the project involved making smaller versions of the Bugatti Residences building. Using 3D printing, Crystal Corporation produced architectural miniatures in different sizes and multiple quantities. Even at smaller sizes, the replicas preserved the tower’s distinctive shape and façade layers. These replicas were intended for presentation to clients, VIPs and other stakeholders, providing a compact physical version of the development. Architectural Models in Different Formats The Bugatti Residences project demonstrates how one building design can be represented through different production methods. The main illuminated model provided a detailed presentation of the development and its setting. The 3D-printed miniatures offered smaller representations suited to individual presentations.
